Folks:

Nothing goes into my smartphone except for my phone list. All data (financial,
email, everything) is on and stays on my desktop. I treat my phone as a phone
and only a phone. In fact since I lost too many of them bouncing out of my bag
on my bicycle, I leave my phone on my desk at home almost all the time. I treat
it like an old fashioned desk phone. It sits next to my desktop computer.

Just like the old days.

If it craps out, all I lose are some phone numbers, most of which are written
down in a note book in my desk drawer.

Facebook never gets that phone number.

Mark

For the umpteenth time I have been locked out of my Facebook account.
The page pops up a request for a phone number they can text a code to,
but I don't have a phone that can take text messages. And why would I
want to give them my phone number, anyway?
