Folks,
I know this is off topic but the list is the best place to get
this sort of info. So here it is
I have two Cisco SG 200-50p switches, in separate buildings
they are linked by two fibre linked.

Each switch has 2 VLANs the admin which is 1 and
a VLAN for the camera system VLAN 2.

All but ports 25 to 36 and 49 are assigned to VLAN1
Ports 25 to 36 and 50 are assigned to VLAN 2

The two switches talk just fine between the two devices on
VLAN 1
But VLAN 2 will not talk. The interesting thing is that if I
unplug the SFP transceiver in port 49 (associated with
VLAN 1) then VLAN 2 will start to talk to the other switch
over the SFP device in port 50.

Here is sort of a diagram of what I have

[Router] >>>> [SW 1 VLAN 1 & 2]
  Fibre links | |
                                             | |
                        [SW 2 VLAN 1 &2}

If I remove the SFP carrying VLAN 2
the link comes up going for VLAN 2 But as soon as I
re-insert VLAN 2 SFP it drops.

I can plug the sfp into a media converter and I get access
to the VLAN on SW 1, this only happens with the switch.
Indeed I actually put to switches on the SW 2 side and
plugged VLAN 1 into port 49 that side worked
plugged VLAN 2 into port 50 and that side worked.
It is just when the two are on the same switch.
SW does not appear to have this issue just the far end
switch.
I am assuming configuration somewhere but not sure where.
