I just noticed that the gksu homepage mentions that it will be replaced
by gksu policykit and provides a link to the new project.
http://www.nongnu.org/gksu/
But the page it links to has not yet been created. In the interest of
secure and trustworthy authentication systems I question the motive
behind ending gksu and directing users to a replacement has not yet been
created.
I'm sure someone will step in to inform me that these are "just
volunteers" but this comes across as sloppy regardless of how much the
developer is being paid. Situations like this are the reason why I don't
trust the gnome ecosystem. Just a random thought.

I appreciate the 109% valid comment, stil it feels little bit like in
primary school - not offering solution - letting me to come back and write
one.
So - For better safety, if needed to use xhost. Use it as:
xhost +localhost
For added safety, do:
xhost -localhost
when done..!

Tomas, Using xhost + is a very bad idea. It's opening up your graphical
session for anybody on the net to commander, no authentication
required.
