It did look like it was a bit too low, so I used a knife to persuade it to come up a bit. But I'm still getting extra linefeeds. Plus I have a problem with the mouse - it freezes when it hasn't been moved for a while, and I have to pick it up and set it back down to get it working again. I suspect that at least the mouse problem is due to the new Nvidia drivers that Ubuntu foisted on me a few days ago - version 440 was replaced by version 450, about a dozen files in all. I have been putting up with this for a week now. But I don't understand much about how the video on this computer works - it has both Intel and Nvidia video. And according to lshw it is using both - the Intel normally because it is easier on the battery, and the Nvidia when it needs to. But maybe the mouse problem is from something else. _______________________________________________ PLUG: https://pdxlinux.org PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
