This all begs the question to me now regarding transparency around county, regional, state & federal IT systems that we all come to rely on in times like these. Some percentage of our taxes go to funding these systems.
I suspect most of us also pay a lot of money to corporations for necessary goods & services but we see what happens when an event like this happens and then people are put in a position where they can't pay for them anymore. And I'll admit, I'm just another person trying to go about my life, who didn't give this too much thought, figuring some good and smart people had it all under control.
