Can you ls /run/user/1000/gvfs and see what's inside? Anything juicy?
rsteff@ENU-1:~$ ls /run/user/1000/gvfs
'sftp:host=192.168.0.134,user=rsteff'
'sftp:host=192.168.0.204,user=rsteff'
ThisĀ machine, ENU-1, is 192.168.0.255.
Those are connections for file sharing that you probably have open.
Yes. Two of my other machines.
I was actually hoping to see something else. Does the obscure 4.1KB
icon refer to either of those connections?
No.
GVFS seems clean, so it's probably something else. When you right
click on the icon does it give you any specific options? mount/unmount
and eject?
Open
Mount Volume
Properties (grayed out)
Applications
Clicking on Open pops up:
Failed to mount "Volume"
The given volume was not found
Clicking on Mount Volume pops up the same error message.
Clicking on Applications opens a menu of possible programs, none of
which would make any sense.
