I have an i9-7940x processor in my system, which works for me. However, now that Microsoft has determined that such processors are not suitable for Windows 11, despite their good performance, there seem to be some bargains available on Ebay and perhaps elsewhere. I suspect that this trend will continue, and may benefit some people who are reading this list.
