The audio voice output quality from my Asus Prime X470-Pro is distorted and unacceptable. I finally figured out that this is the issue with online meetings and news/youtube videos, not the speakers (although I just replaced the Creative Pebbles with ProSonus studio monitors).
Searching the web (including Amazon) for PCIe sound cards that provide clear voice output was unsuccessful because all card descriptions and ratings focus on music, surround sound, or gaming output. I don't have any experience to know whether reviews that say the sound from streaming movies is really good means that I'll have high quality voice output from Zoom and Jitsi meetings and web-based videos. Please provide recommendations for an add-in PCIe audio card that outputs clear voice as well as music to speakers and headphones/headsets. TIA, Rich
