As far as the good place: http://www.newegg.com.  Not sure they will 
have older cards that will be well supported in your system, but I have 
nothing but love for how they feed my geeky needs.

USB probably is a goot route for wirless, there are also AP stations 
that connect to a standard 10/100 NIC.
