The file /dev/input/mice does exist.

So what might be causing this issue?
All of the sites that I googled about this issue say that the general cause of this message is that the config file is pointing to /dev/mouse which has been moved to /dev/input/mice. As you can see I have it directly pointing it to /dev/input/mice, so I am having issues narrowing it down on google.
Here is a full log of what I get when I run "startx". Any suggestions?
