As a sidenote we have just been playing around with some IBM Netvista thin clients. They are P 266 with 128 ram. Add small laptop hard drive couple of nics and smoothwall shake vigorously and viola instant small quiet energy efficient firewall. They even have compact flash if you want to go that route.
