Is there by chance an eclipse plugin that will do that? I really enjoy using Eclipse for most of my coding. It is Java-based and cross-platform so I can use the exact same editor on my Linux machine, Mac, and Windows machine. The only thing I hate is the vi plugin is commercial now.
