Not really. Only one of the NICs in the bond is active at any given
time. In order to do aggregation (802.3ad style) you need a switch that
supports it and is properly configured.
What distro are you using? If it's RedHat/Fedora/CentOS, I can give you
a copy of my ifcfg.bond0, ifcfg.eth0, etc... files if you like.
