You can use alternate routes, i.e. go thru Scofield. Last nite we were coming back from Bullfrog Lake Powell. I heard about the closure in Hanksville, so I decided to go west when I got to I-70 then north on I-15. It took an extra 2 hours - thru, I might add, several thunder storms.
