I've installed Debian on just such a beast... actually it had less proc
and ram, so yours would probably be a bit more usable.  I setup IceWM as
the gui, biggest problem I had (with 16MB of ram) was finding a modern
web browser other than links that would run fast enough to make it
bearable.
