Or the network of circuits through the power supply including the rest
of the hardware in the computer, otherwise what is preventing a power
supply manufacturer for opmizing away from needless inefficiency?  I
suppose if you were really concerned about power consumption you could
measure the inductance and add capacitors accordingly. (-:
