I am pretty sure outlook will be able to use LDAP, but not so sure
whether it can update. You might just have to try it out. :)
Exchange+IIS require active directory. Isn't active directory just an
implementation of LDAP? If so, might it already be part of the
exchange
protocol?

Ok, well, I guess it's time for me to dig into some research and
trials and let you all know how I get on.
Perhaps a tutorial would be in order, if enough interest is shown.
