Hello all! I'm running into a periodic problem with my bind9 program. About once a week or so, it stops resolving names it doesn't know and just returns 1.0.0.0 for everything you send to it. Then it will work fine (but it remembers everything it resolved to 1.0.0.0 and continues to forward to that). If I "/etc/init.d/bind9 restart" it is all better afterwards. Looking at the Daemon.log it appears that when it does do this, it is reporting that it cannot talk to the forwarding name servers. Any clue?
