Oooo... I just love speculating about the end of the human race. While we are on the Off Topic track... <tinfoil hat> Sometime in the next 200 years, enough nuclear warheads will be scattered among rogue states (which may include England, France, and the USA) to wipe out our civilization when someone inevitably hits the big red button. Now that we have nuclear weapons technology, I think we need to measure the survival prospects of the human race in terms of thousands of years rather than billions. Then, 100 million years from now, the descendents of rats will have evolved enough intelligence to take our place and nuke themselves too. Later, rinse, repeat as necessary. BTW, this is why SETI will never succeed. </tinfoil hat> Man, I'm jaded. Mike .___________________________________________________________________.
