mail getting to account not in virtualusertable

I have a standard unix account on my server. This is the account that I use to SSH into the box with. For security reasons, I do not use this account for email though. I have created another user for that. Some emails (spam) are still getting delivered to the first account's standard unix mail box however. How is this happening? There are no entries in SendMail's virtual user table file that point to this first account.
