I'm not sure if they're progressing; I haven't looked. I get the feeling
freevo doesn't compare to myth as a DVR. But I also get the feeling
nothing compares to myth for complexity. I don't need a DVR, I just need
a way to navigate to my video files with my remote, and freevo was easy
to set up.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the
right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.
