This is the case with me. It's not my eyes--just my focus.
As for my monitor at our old job, it was a 21" and I ran it at 1600x1200, with
a Matrox G400. ;)
At my present job I have two LCD displays at 1280x1024 using xinerama.
I admit my characterization of your monitor-viewing habits was an
indulgence in dramatic hyperbole, but I do recall people were often
astounded by the high resolutions you used. :)
