There is a difference between only being able to survive in a binary
distro and being able to survive in Gentoo and choosing to use a binary
distro instead.
There is a difference between not knowing C and knowing C but preferring
to program in Ruby. The issue is not the lack of people who love C, it
is the lack of people would even stand a chance of using C.
