>From what I understand, hotmail, yahoo, and AOL automatically filter it
to spam if there's no reverse dns lookup. Gmail might too. If the
recipient doesn't check the spam folder, then you're hosed.
I could be wrong, but I've read that and personal experience supports it
(although not conclusively).
I just tried gmail and yahoo, they work fine. I don't have an aol or
hotmail address to try.
