Next up will be to figure out how to get all that to happen continuously. I have google earth plus (which supports gps directly), but it doesn't seem to want to talk to the garmin directly.
I thought plus got you the ability to download tracks from the gps but not live gps fix. Was I mistaken?
The map providers charge google a lot more for a map that is to be used live with a gps.
