I use straight mod_proxy (not mod_proxy_ajp) to balance to my tomcat
servers and it works great.
You are correct. I was referring to my experience with pre Apache 2.2's
mod_proxy module in my statement. I obviously need to start playing with
Apache 2.2 and try out it's new features.
