I know there is a chase from my furnace/storage/data room to the attic, but it is firewalled off. The cleanest way would be to follow that to the second floor attic, then down the wall into the room. That is kind of my preferred method. A simpler method would be to run a cable out the data room, on the interior of my garage and then up through the ceiling to the wall of my office which sits directly above the garage. I would also like a good coax run from my data room in the basement to an antenna in the attic. The same chase could be used if we could safely access it and re-firewall when done. A previous owner ran a coax from the data/furnace room up the heater flue to the roof. I am not a fan of that method and would like to remove it.
