The developer position is responsible for systems analysis, systems design,
database design and management, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and
implementing internal and external web software solutions. The person filling
this position will be expected to work closely with other members of the
development group to maintain and enhance client-server and web-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Maintenance of current internal and external web based applications
•
Systems Analysis and Design of current and new systems
•
Database modeling, design and maintenance
•
Working with other developers to create new features for applications based on
business and design requirements
•
Problem solving and troubleshooting tickets from all departments
Key Qualifications:
•
4 year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
•
Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL
•
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML experience required
•
Knowledge of object-oriented design and implementation principles required
•
Experience with Flash Action Script, Unix/Linux, source versioning software
such as Subversion is preferred.
•
MISM degree or other graduate level degree is a plus.
•
Knowledge of C#, Java and other languages is preferred.
Candidate must have excellent written and communication skills, be willing to
work in a team environment, possess strong interpersonal skills along with
problem-solving skills and creativity, have the ability to manage multiple
projects and set priorities appropriately, and be highly motivated and willing
to go the extra mile to ensure quality.
