IT Coordinator/Linux Administrator
*Core Responsibilities
Responsible for website uptime, optimization, and stability (FreeBSD and
Red Hat).
Responsible for multiple MySQL databases including replication and
optimization.
Setup and maintain server monitoring and alerts.
Maintain and administer the telephone system.
Investigate and report to management on IT infrastructure and future needs.
Responsible for IT purchases and budgeting.
Setup and implement new server hardware. (Intranet and Internet)
Plan and maintain Cisco firewalls and network security.
Maintain and administer the network.
Maintain and administer the data center.(Cooling, power, ups, generator)
Plan and implement backup and restore strategies.
Support users throughout the organization often times including desktop
support.

AMD, INTEL, Tyan, Supermicro, Foundry, Cisco, Load Balancers, Dell.
*Programming Languages*
Scripting, PHP, MySQL, Flash, ActionScript
*Protocols and Applications*
NFS, SCP, HTML, Apache, Virtual Hosts, HTTPS, Postfix, Zimbra, Sendmail,
LDAP, IPTables, portsnap, portupgrade, portmanager, YUM, Samba, YAST,
VOIP, SSH, Asterisks(Trixbox),
*Education*
Bachelors Degree in related field plus 1 years experience or any
combination of education and experience totaling 5 years of Linux System
Administration.
