I installed four interchange packages on an Ubuntu box. The installation was botched: the MySQL user and database were never set up. Now the server refuses to start, and I cannot remove them or re-install them. This also affects other packages.
I get messages like this one: -------------------------------------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc/interchange# apt-get autoremove Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... I give it the password for the user "interchange", but that doesn't work. How do I get rid of the damned thing.
