This is a constant source of frustration on the bluez mailing lists. The
bluetooth in 2.4 is really bad. There are probably a lot of other
subsystems showing their age.

And to properly combine this with your xmas thread, in time for xmas I
got a couple of boards from gumstix in trade for helping with bluetooth.
Fortunately these guys track 2.6.x really well.
