In an attempt to settle the long debate about which is better,
Microsoft is evidently going to make a new version of Emacs for

Does this mean VI will finally win?

If you look at the blog post that is the source of the rumor, you'll
see that it's more of a 'project inspired by emacs' than a real
version of emacs. I doubt it will have any significance whatsoever to
the eternal flame war between emacs and vi.

Ooh, but does it mean we're going to see Lisp.NET?
