POSITION
Web Application Engineer
$60,000 - $80,000
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the director of Interactive Marketing, this position is
responsible for the execution of all technology integrations,
marketing application development, website backend and database
management.
Key tasks include enhancing website architecture and functionality,
ensuring web stability, and integrating key technology solutions with
SiteCatalyst and other Demand Generation Marketing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrate key B2B technology solutions including CRM, SiteSearch, Lead
Nurture Automation, Ad Serving and others.
Assure absolute stability in marketing technology functionality by
employing proven processes of staging, testing and deployment.
Web application development primarily using partner web services and
API’s.
Maintain LAMP and Subversion environment
Problem-solve real world problems around marketing automation and
provide technical solutions for difficult scenarios.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The successful candidate will have deep experience in web application
development, specifically strong LAMP, Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP,
SOAP, XML, API usage and creation experience. Familiarity with
SiteCatalyst a strong plus.
Organized, Detail oriented, problem solver, and positive attitude.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Strong problem solving skills; troubleshoot and suggest technical
solutions to business problems.
Strong technical/IT abilities including HTML, PHP, XML, SOAP,
JavaScript, MySQL
Extremely comfortable in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL,PHP) environment
as well as familiarity with Subversion or CVS.
Understanding of dynamic web sites and database driven content.
5+ years developing and maintaining web sites or web applications for
high-tech, business-to-business companies.
Willingness to go the extra mile to meet deadlines and achieve
results, and a keen attention to detail.
Strong project management skills; flexibility to manage and maintain
multiple projects.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and
provide quick turn-around.
BENEFICIAL TO HAVE
Knowledge of CRM systems such as SalesForce.
Experience using and building APIs and Webservices
Experience with SiteCatalyst
