Sorry Jeff, but Stuart's reply (whether it's on or off-topic and useful to the list population is a different issue), was indeed both polite *and* civil, and in no way rude. Stuart did not attack Steve as a person, but pointed out (as always) flaws in Steve's reasoning and applied reciprocal reasoning to make the point even more clear. In fact, Stuart's e-mail is a great example of how one should express a difference in opinion in a civilized way.
