I think you misunderstood my goal. 

Yes, I'm tired of listening to Steve say he's too important to bother to
take off his muddy shoes before clomping through my kitchen. I don't buy
his "I'm too busy to trim" argument because (1) He doesn't have to use
his cell phone to reply. Nothing discussed on Plug is so critical it
can't wait until the evening as he kicks back behind a real computer to
catch up with the community. (2) He could be Warren Buffet and that
still wouldn't make his reply so important or his time so valuable that
he'd have an excuse for not taking 3 seconds to trim.

But that's not the real problem. The real problem is that he pisses me
off so much I feel a need to call bull on his claims every time, and
Plug doesn't need to listen to that old broken record. He refuses to
change, so all I can do is change myself. That's proving to be a slow
process, so I'm altering my environment to reduce the temptation.
