Turn off NetworkManager:

        /sbin/chkconfig NetworkManager off

Turn on "normal" networking:

        /sbin/chkconfig network on

Then, edit /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0. Make sure:

        ONBOOT=yes

Have fun!
