someone that can oversee their global IT department but is able to
understand and participate in development as needed.
Job Summary:
Performs the following types of duties: responsible for all application
systems and analysis and programming activities including feasibility
studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and
implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs for
the International Subsidiaries; provides direct support to subsidiary
MIS personnel so that computer systems function smoothly; assists in
projecting software and hardware requirements; reviews and evaluates
Utah personnel’s work and prepares performance reports; confers with and
advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures,
technical problems, priorities and methods; consults with personnel in
the subsidiaries and in other MIS sections to coordinate activities;
prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the
International support group; performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Knowledge: of the business functions and how they are implemented in the
International subsidiaries information system.
Skill: Skill in communication of ideas and specifications with
subsidiary personnel and MIS technical personnel. .Net, SQL, Delphi and
ASP knowledge as well as other web based applications.
Ability: to coordinate and mange multiple projects. Ability to
effectively motivate technical personnel.
Education: Computer Science or other IT related degree preferred plus 7+
years of IT management experience.
