I'm trying ddrescue ("aptitude install gddrescue" on Ubuntu). It's
still crunching away. I decided to order a replacement set anyway. The
first thing I'll do with those is dd 'em onto a backup hard drive.

Mine were burned. I hope the replacement set were pressed, which
should last longer.
