I attempted to find a torrent, but in the end just ran "update-manager
-d" instead. It took from late afternoon yesterday, until around 11 pm
last night, so 7 hours or so, to upgrade my system from 9.04 to 9.10.
It seems to be pretty stable so far. I haven't encountered any major
breakage yet.
