Ubuntu has mentioned the possibility of _maybe_ switching to btrfs for the 10.10 release. If it isn't marked experimental. And if their betas go well. So far, theirs is the most aggressive mainstream adoption schedules I'm aware of. MeeGo already uses btrfs as their default filesystem, but as far as I'm aware, they still haven't shipped actual hardware. I also haven't heard anything definitive about when they will. My suspicious is not within the next year. In other words, I don't think anyone is using btrfs in production. Except, of course, Linus Torvalds... http://lwn.net/Articles/342892/ -- "XML is like violence: if it doesn't solve your problem, you aren't using enough of it." - Chris Maden /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
