I don't think that's worth the risk with a non-name. Cheaper would be to get a backup specific service that did some basic redundancy, but only enough for a backup, not quite the scalability S3 goes to. You could do this yourself, or find the service that already exists somewhere. Maybe someone needs to see this as a biz-op and create something? 2 or 3 locations, Raid5/6 on the arrays, some intelligent management of volumes and bandwidth, some security and reporting. Done.
