Um, no. That doesn't work. What lead me astray was that I set the
computer for "Normal" visual effects, and got them. I then logged out,
and logged back in again. Meanwhile Gnome lost my settings, so I logged
in with no visual effects. What is this, Windows 95 Version 2.0?
