Interesting data. Vendor specific at all? Or is it just in general,
across the board?
Well, even at a shorter 1 - 1.5 years, given the more than 2x increase
in performance often seen (over 100x better IOPs in some cases), it
can still be well worth the investment if the performance makes a
difference to your bottom line (I suspect it can often reduce the
amount of scale-out necessary).
