Migrating wouldn't stop the government from prosecuting your stateside
entity for failure to comply. All the same though i hope everyone can
understand that while the jist of my email seems to be in favor of these
measures I personally am not. If the ultimate goal is a security panacea
then that is what it would take. One platform all managed under a
tightly controlled department. Think communist dictatorship for the
internet. I personally think that while the protocols could use some
updates the solution isn't legislation, but acceptance that mistakes
happen and understanding that adding more bureaucracy only increases the
places mistakes can happen.
