Greets all, I was recently made aware of a person whose life was turned upside down by the loss of function of his kidneys. He's not able to do what he did before (police man) and is looking at a vocation change. He worked with computers a long time ago, and I talked to him about working with computers now. He's excited at the prospect and i've donated some books and videos to him to use to learn and get up to speed.
What i'm wondering is, do you guys have any sys admin related books that you are no longer using that you'd be willing to donate to the cause. While he does have a laptop, i'm looking for a system that he could practice on to really get a feel for linux and not be afraid to really practice on it.
