I had one that fit in a cdrom slot. It popped out the front with a button. And held 5-10 cds. Of course the user would be able to access these but you could tape down the bottom ones that have the driver cds.
You could also copy all the files to a server and just chuck the media. I'm in charge of over 70 computers. Here's the problem... I get a new desktop, set up, install drivers, software, etc - using the DVDs that came with the computer. (motherboard DVD, graphics card DVD, etc) Then deliver the computer to the user - all is good - except I've got 2 to 3 DVDs now just laying around. I suppose I could label them the name given to the new computer - but it's easy to lose things and when the computer is old and dies, I'd have to remember to chuck the DVDs. What I'd like is a internal DVD holder that mounts to the inside of the case. Then when I was all done the DVD would stay with the computer. If I had to fix anything, I'd have the original DVDs right there - no hunting. Anybody know of anything like this?
