This struck a thought: You could do like map makers of old: introduce a specific, small, different bug in each version. You're gambling they don't find it and fix it--they would all have to be such that it doesn't adversely affect your algorithm in an obvious way (the bugs *have* to be in your secret sauce--since that's what you're worried about leaking).
Again, may not be possible, but like Levi says, w/o changing the meaning of the code (and behavior), any other changes to the source code will not be detectable. /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
