Job Description: The Linux Systems Engineer will have extensive experience building, supporting, and configuring highly available Linux servers. Will support production systems and will participate in the team's on-call rotation. Must be knowledgeable on the required technologies and able to make immediate contributions to the team. Job Responsibilities: • Build, support and configuring highly available Linux servers • Support production level servers and core infrastructure services • Ensure that core services are kept available, secure, and resilient to failure • Participate in an on-call rotation answering emergency e-mails, texts, and calls • Deploy new servers to company standards • Engineer new systems solutions to meet team goals • Perform preventive maintenance on systems and services • Assist with hardware life-cycle management • Extensive experience with Java web applications, Apache, Tomcat, Postfix, MySQL, Oracle, Hadoop, and other similar technologies • Scripting experience using Bash, Perl, and Ruby preferred Please visit http://tinyurl.com/d5a38yl for more information or to apply.
