Hello all!

Sorry, I just need to rant for a moment. I recently built an X86_64 LFS build
using the
current stable. It recommends using linux kernel 3.8.1, so I picked the latest
at the
moment which was 3.8.11. It has only been a couple of weeks and now the 3.8
line
has been EOL'd !!!!!argh!

I don't want to use the mainline kernel, but the rest are old enough that I
want to
utilize the "coolness" of the latest stuff and use a newer kernel.

Should I build a new LFS and use the 3.9.2 kernel or is that too going to be
EOL'd in a
week? How are we supposed to know what is going to be a long term kernel? Or
are
the "long term kernels" really the only long term kernels and anything other
than
mainline should automatically be considered EOL kernels?
