Well bitcointalk.org is a good place to learn.
My particular model was made by butterfly labs, but their support is
essentially worthless.
The process I remember was plug it into the computer and start the mining
software.  The software should detect which USB port it's on and start it
up.  However I can't remember if there was a driver or something I had to
install though.
